| The year is 2015; half of the Earth�s population is dead after the global disaster of the Second Impact. With most of the world now flooded and in ruins, mankind faces a greater battle, as they must fight against unknown forces to prevent their own destruction. Created by the Japanese government, NERV uses giant bio-engineered robots piloted by talented teenagers, the Evangelions, against these foes known as the Angels. They are Earth�s last and only hope for preservation.
